The YSCC Course is designed to
give you the knowledge and
coaching skills to make you a youth
strength & conditioning specialist.

The Youth Strength & Conditioning Certification (YSCC) provides you with the systems and training methods used when working with youth athletes.

The Youth Strength & Conditioning Certification (YSCC) course offers an evidence-based introduction to the theory and practice of strength and conditioning for young athletes. The 3 day certification course focusses on training centred on the concept of long-term athletic development (LTAD) of young athletes from 6 to 17 year olds.

The YSCC course is specifically aimed at fitness professionals, physiotherapists, sports coaches and PE teachers who want to enhance youth athletic development. If you want to work in or create a Youth Academy for your gym or sports organisation, then this is the course for you!

During the course, participants will receive KG Elite’s Youth Pathway involving foundation, development and performance phases. In addition, participants will learn our Level 1-3 exercise library for fundamental movement skill (FMS), strength and power. A particular focus is on the application of a “games based” approach to speed, agility and conditioning. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and coaching skills for developing youth athleticism within the community and sport-related environments.

At the end of Day 3, there will be a 45min MCQ test to become a certified Youth Strength & Conditioning Coach.
